The world’s strongest sulphurous brine water that we use for treatment at the Physiotherapy Centre comes from the “Malina” borehole in Solc Zdrój. According to the classification, it is highly mineralised sulphurous sodium chloride brine (sulphur brine) with bromide, iodide and boron, with the highest content of active sulphur
The effectiveness of balneotherapy treatments depends on the concentration of active sulphur compounds in the water. Using healing water sources with high concentrations (over 100 mg/1 L) of sulphur compounds ensures the best therapeutic results in a spa cure. Like any stimulus-based treatment, it requires a series of treatments, and the healing effects last for about a year after the end of the treatment.
